Question: Why did you choose NCCU?
Tazmon Foster: "To pursue an education, and to be a Division I football player. I heard about NCCU through a couple of my high school friends who were here."
Q: Tell me something interesting about yourself that others may not know.
TF: "I actually started my college sports career on a basketball scholarship at Cape Fear Community College. I played both basketball and football since I was seven years old. But my heart was in football, so I found a way to transfer to N.C. Wesleyan to play football before transferring to NCCU."
Q: What is your major? What do you want to do after NCCU?
TF: "I am majoring in psychology. My goal is to play professional football, then I'd like to coach football, starting at the high school level and try to work my way up to college."
Q: What do you like most about being an NCCU Eagle?
TF: "I like the atmosphere of the football games, especially when we run through the tunnel and hear the fans."
Q: What has been your most memorable moment at NCCU?
TF: "My most memorable moment was when I made Top 10 Plays on ESPN. My brother (Keyon) called me from work at about 2 o'clock in the morning and said I was on Top 10 Plays. I was excited."
Q: Do you have any pre-game rituals?
TF: "I pray before every game."
Q: Why football?
TF: "I chose football because I was blessed with a special talent to play the game, and I have a passion for it."
Q: If you could invite any living person to WG Pearson cafeteria for lunch, who would it be and why?
TF: "My little cousins Savon (6) and Andre, Jr. (12), because they are my biggest fans."
Q: What three words best describe you?
TF: "Passionate. Strong. Motivated."
Q: How would you like to be remembered from your playing days at NCCU?
TF: "I would like to be remembered as a champion, and one of the greatest."
