MISSION STATEMENT
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) at North Carolina Central University is a dynamic group of student-athlete team leaders who, by working together, develop and strengthen a sense of personal responsibility and wellness among student-athletes, the administration and the community.
Our mission is to enhance the total student-athlete experience by assisting the director of athletics with his/her quest in developing student-athlete leadership skills; encouraging a focus on academics and graduation; and fostering a positive student-athlete image on the campus of NCCU and in the community.
We are dedicated to representing the interests of our fellow student-athletes for the betterment of Athletics at NCCU. For this, the committee will serve as an open forum for all varsity student-athletes and act as a vehicle to promote communication between coaches, athletic administrators and student-athletes.
