EAGLES VOLLEYBALL TAKES ON BETHUNE-COOKMAN SATURDAY

DURHAM, N.C. - The North Carolina Central University Eagles volleyball team will take on the Wildcats of Bethune-Cookman University on Saturday, Oct. 18, at 7 p.m. in McLendon-McDougald Gym.

NCCU junior transfer Avaniki Campbell has amassed 182 kills so far this season for an average of 2.8 kills per game, while junior Nadia Hayes is second with 144 kills, averaging 1.76 kills per game, and leads the team with 60 blocks.

NCCU (4-21) has faced five MEAC schools so far this season. The Eagles are 2-3 against MEAC competition.

The Wildcats (6-11) are currently on a North Carolina state tour. BCU is facing the Rams of Winston-Salem State on Friday, Oct. 17, at 7 p.m. in the C.E. Gaines Center before traveling I-85 north to visit Durham.
