Final Stats

DURHAM, NC - The North Carolina Central University Eagles volleyball team sent its seniors out on a positive note in the regular season home finale, beating arch-rival Winston-Salem State University 3-0 (25-21, 25-20 and 25-14).

Seniors Kristan Fields, Nadia Hayes, Rachel Lloyd, and Ashley Shade were honored as they played their last home game in an Eagle uniform.

NCCU was led by Avaniki Campbell with 12 kills and fellow teammate Aqiyla Gomez and Hayes each had seven kills. Hayes also recorded a game-high three service aces in the victory.

Shade paced the Eagles with 24 assists and eight digs. Lloyd had a team-high of nine digs.

Annika Barnell led the Lady Rams with nine kills and Ashley Harris contributed eight kills in the three set loss.
