CARY, NC - The North Carolina Central University women's tennis team competed in the UNC Wilmington Double Tournament over the weekend, winning 5 matches.

Tatiana Velasquez pair with Kateryna Chorna as the number one doubles while teammates Ashley Rogers and Monica Medina were selected as the number two doubles.

On the first day on the event Velasquez/Chorna had gone 1-2 on the day. The team defeated UNC Pembroke, 8-6 before falling to UNC Wilmington and Davidson 8-0 and 8-1.
