DURHAM, N.C. - North Carolina Central University bowling team will open up their season this Friday (Nov. 21) by participating in the University of Maryland Eastern Shore Hawk Classic, in Millsboro, MD. The Lady Eagles capped off their first tour of Division I competition with a record of 14-63.

This Lady Eagles will be returning three bowlers and adding two new bowlers the roster this year.

Sophomores LaTia Blacknell and Elizabeth Schuster along with junior Ashley Lofton will be the three returning bowlers this season.

Adding to the roster this year are freshmen Lindsey Green, a native of Lexington, N.C. and Amber Campbell of Statesville, N.C.

The Eagles will add up mileage as they will travel to all of their competitions including a return trip to Tallahassee Fla. to participate in the NCAA Releaser's Invitational.
