The Eagles last played St. Augustine’s on Sept. 8, 2007, in Durham, N.C., in a contest NCCU won, 6-0.
The NCAA allows Division I-FCS programs to schedule 12 regular-season games in years in which there are 14 Saturdays from the first permissible playing date (Thursday preceding Labor Day) through the last playing date in November. In the near future, that rule is applicable in 2013, 2014 and 2019.
